The development of this product began when we met a person whose skin had become sensitive due to the side effects of anti-cancer drugs, and who said he could no longer use ordinary towels because they hurt too much. The basic design for towel development
1) Raw material selection: Super-long staple cotton (Supima cotton) / 2) Yarn design: Short fibers are trimmed off and fine count and ultimate soft twist yarn is spun / 3) Towel design: Longer pile length to take advantage of fine count yarn and slightly lower weave density for lightness / 4)Finishing: Eliminated all chemicals and synthetic detergents and finished with natural enzymes and soap.

The secret of why pure cotton Daiginjo towels are gentle to the skin
Through the combing process of spinning, which removes the shortest portion of Supima cotton fibers, over 20% of the short fibers are removed by combing. Since the normal combing process usually removes about 13% of the fibers, an extra 7 percentage points of fibers are removed. It is just like Daiginjo-sake where rice grains are removed to the utmost limit to reduce the weight of the sake. Short fibers are removed as if rice grains are shaved with Daiginjo-sake, and only the high-quality long fibers of cotton fiber are left on the pile of the towel. The result is a smooth and slippery towel with minimal irritation to the skin.
